Annapolis Royal and area are branching out in the blog world. Over the past few months, we have quietly been working with a number of our partner organizations to create a blog which will discuss Annapolis Royal as a tourism destination. This blog will feature material from the Annapolis Heritage Society as well as our local Parks Canada sites (Fort Anne, Port Royal and Kejimkujik), the Historic Gardens, Upper Clements Park and our many other local attractions. There will even be some posts by me over there. Our goal is to show potential visitors just how much there is to do in the Annapolis Royal area. Hopefully we can convince a few more people to come to our area this summer or give people a reason to stay a bit longer. This will also be a good source for locals trying to see what is going on in the area.
Tomorrow, at the Experience Digby Annapolis Tourism Showcase we are going to be unveiling our new blog. Since I am going to be busy working at the event, (wearing my Loyalist period costume no less) I am posting a link to the site tonight. So, without further ado, I am happy to present the Attractions Annapolis blog.
Our image today is another somewhat random picture. This one is of three local ladies in costume at North Hills Museum last summer.
All for now,
