On the way home after my meeting this evening I decided to stop at the O'Dell House Museum to drop off some papers. When I came out of the museum I took a look across the parking lot to see what was happening across the water in Granville Ferry. At 9:30 on a Monday evening, the little village with the beautiful waterfront was quite peaceful. A few low-hanging clouds seemed to be there to gracefully dust the tops of the chimneys. In the sky, a light pink tinge was all that remained of a sunset that I missed. While the water was not perfectly calm, it was tranquil enough to reflect a little colour from the sky. All in all, this was an ideal scene for the end of a busy day at work.
All for now,
